What is a Feasibility Study?
A Feasibility Study answers the question, "Legally, what can go here?" I research zoning, building codes, local codes including HOA by laws and I look at the existing versus desired to determine whether a proposed project can be legally built, and what challenges you may face while getting there. At the end of the study, you receive a report that details all of the information I find. Once you review, we'll meet and go over next steps.
 
How long does it take?
A Feasibility Study takes about a week to complete. 
 
Is it required?
In order to work with me, yes, it is. Every architect has to go through this research as part of understanding the scope of your project. Understanding what is required and the challenges we may face helps me to determine accurate pricing for your construction document set and other related services.
